The 15th Annual Mini Derby at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers. Miniature horses race, final standings lock, and one Stable takes the Mini Derby Cup.
The day
Race day runs 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The full schedule will be posted closer to the event.
- Arrival
- Guests arrive in Derby attire while the live standings run on screen.
- Post parade
- Each horse is introduced in its Stable’s silks.
- The races
- Miniature horses race on a course at Pinnacle Country Club.
- Winner’s circle
- Season standings lock and the top Stable is presented the Mini Derby Cup.
- Last-place lap
- The jockey at the bottom of the standings takes one honorary lap.
What to wear
- Hats
- Wide brims, fascinators and feathers are encouraged.
- Suits
- Seersucker, linen, pastels and bow ties.
- Dresses
- Florals and spring colors. Flats help on the lawn.
- Stable colors
- Supporters often wear their horse’s silks.
