The Cause: Equestrian Bridges
Each year, the Mini Derby unites the community in a miniature version of the Kentucky Derby to raise funds that support Equestrian Bridges, a registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit dedicated to helping Northwest Arkansas children with special needs, at-risk youth, veterans, corporations, individuals and families in need. Equestrian Bridges seeks to empower these individuals through Natural Horsemanship techniques applied to Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT). EB’s overall goal is to change the face of mental health and make NWA a happier place to live!
